The seminar will be held at the UK Coldstream Research Campus Human Development Institute Training Room 1525 Bull Lea Road, Lexington KY. More than 1 in 3 adults under age 65 enrolled in Medicaid have a disability. Medicaid provides essential medical care and supportive services that help many persons with disabilities remain in their homes and communities. The Department of Medicaid Services (DMS) will provide a basic overview of Kentucky’s six 1915 (c) Medicaid waivers and the services they provide for people with disabilities. We will discuss the process for applying for waivers. Lastly, we will discuss upcoming waiver redesign and provide avenues to provide feedback to guide the process.
