Title
NECTC Tell Us Your Transition Story “Tell Us Your Transition Story” is a survey instrument designed to investigate family and provider attitudes toward transitions, based on Flanagan’s (1954) Critical Incident Technique for gathering and analyzing information from key informants.
NECTC National Preschool Teacher Survey This survey was used to gather information from public preschool teachers about the practices they used to facilitate the transition into preschool and from preschool to kindergarten.
NECTC Focus Group Protocol - EI to Preschool Age and Preschool to School Age This procedure was used to guide national focus groups for the purpose of identifying practices at the state and local level which aid in the transition of young children with disabilities.
NECTC National Focus Group Follow-Up Session Transition from EI to Preschool Survey This open-ended questionnaire gathered additional information from focus group members regarding transition practices and positive outcomes for children with disabilities.
Transition Practices Survey A national validation survey designed for early childhood professionals used to measure key transition practices as children leave early intervention and enter preschool and as they leave preschool and enter kindergarten programs.
