Many people believe they know what ADHD looks like. This seminar is designed to give participants a clear and concise definition of symptoms of ADHD. In addition, the seminar will provide a description of effective strategies to support our children identified with this disorder. As the rate of children diagnosed with ADHD continues to grow, it is extremely important that care providers, educators, and parents collaborate for the identification and the continuity of care for these children.

Presenters:

Kristal N. Hankinson, M.A. Marriage & Family Therapy, Early Childhood

Mental Health Specialist, Bluegrass Mental Health-Mental Retardation;

Dr. Teri M. Nowak, Assistant Professor, Department of Psychology,
